At farewell party on Bayer Young Environmental Envoy, every country must present a cultural performance or promote their countries. From Indonesian envoys, we decided to perform a traditional dance from Riau Province (my father’ hometown!), Indonesia, it’s called Zapin dance, I was selected as the coregrapher for this performance, as you know that I haven’t been experiencing in dancing! hahaha, can you imagine?? But I have to face it even I couldn’t make some choreography..
For the costume, DP got it from their university (status : borrowed), unfortunately DP can’t attend the farewell party because he was sick T_T. The Indonesian girl will wear pink dress, and the boy will wear red dress.
The Farewell Party had been held in Calcio restaurant , BayArena Leverkusen. At this year, Michael Ballack, one of the handsome football player have been transfered to Bayer Leverkusen. Luckily, before we performed something, we got surprised from Mr. Michael Preus, Director of something *I forgot* in Bayer Company. He brought Michael Ballack to farewell party! I was shocked at that time. but I had to know that it wasn’t dream at all. It was true!!! Michael Ballack was in front of my face.. Huaaaaa.. I saw him looked like my favourite actor, Matt Damon. I don’t know why they are look alike. 🙂

I was smiling widely.. I was too much happy at that moment. Every country got a chance to take some photos with him. And also I got his signatured-postcard! I got 5 cards! haha, but I donated it to my friends.. 😀
And last I gave him a souvenir from Indonesia, when I gave to him, he looked like a confused man. 😀 *too much fans i guess.
After met Michael Ballack, we had a dinner. After having wonderful dinner, I just knew that Indonesia will be the first one who will perform. I was shocked also excited,, but Adam and Asmak keep supporting each other. And here we are.. Zapin dance from Indonesiaa..
The song was Laksmana Raja di Laut, song by Iyeth Bustami. This song is quite closed to dangdut’s rhytim. when you hear this song, you feel like you want to shake your hips. hahaha.
Indonesia
I was so happy that we made it! I combined all of sumatran and javanese dance into this performance, Saman, balinese dance, and zapin are included.. After my performance finished, many people said that I’m a good dancer. Oh my God! I was very shocked!!! 😀
China
next performance was China!!!! I love their dresses, they are so lovely!!
they were singing a Chinese song, I forgot the title, but the song was about flowers. while they were singing, every Chinese envoys will Chinese pose, Liu showed something like a swan-pose *I guess. but it’s very beautiful.. ^^
India
next performance was Indiaa!!!
they were performing a traditional dance from India also demonstration of yoga.. the dance were so great, and the yoga was so quite and relaxing,, hahaha. Namaste India!
Brazil
Brazil was the craziest performance from all. Daniel was showed his fanaticism of Brazilian football. He kissed his Brazil-football-shirt, after that the girls from Brazil were dancing, cute dancing. then, Samuel went to stage, and the music were played. Wow, the song was nice! People must dance and dance..!
Kenya
They were performing a song of Kenya’s national anthem. After that, they were dancing.. funny dancing with African style!
South africa
South Africa also one of the most attacrtive performance. Mimi and Phindile were showing their traditional dance. At first, I don;t know the meaning of their expressions. But, I was enjoyed on their performances, 😀
Venezuela
Next to Venezuela!!! Claudia was telling about Chocolate was originated from venezuela, and Oscar also gave us Venezuela’s chocolate. yummyy.. Claudia had been asked to do short dance of venezuela style. hahaha
Singapore
they were singing Singapore’s national anthem, and then continue to Indonesian Song, Bengawan Solo. this song was composed by the late Pak Gesang. I heard that Bengawan Solo is very famous in SIngapore,, Singapura .. oh .. Singapuraa..
Korea
Korean were showing how to juggle with something from plastic waste. I wish they were wearing Hanbok, Korean traditional dress.. it’s very cute dress ^^
Colombia
They were dancing in Colombian style! Andrea were dressed do sparkly..
Thailand
They wore Thailand traditional dress. I love it so much!!!
They were singing a songs in Thai language, and Pakorn became the lead vocalist, attractive performance from Thailand!
Malaysia
Our neighbourhood country were showing about Malaysia culture.
Ecuador
Unfortunately, I cannot Ecuador performance.. T_T
The Philipines
THe Philipined envoys was one of attactive team. Cristhoper also forced us to sing a song together. 😀
Peru
Viva Latino! Christian and Isabel were showing Latino dance,, the dance was so beautiful, before I watch them, I ussually see this dance only on TV, it’s cool!!! 😀
Argentina
Unfortunately, I cannot find their perfomance photo.. T_T

Vietnam
They were performing Vietnamese traditional dance. I saw Nguyen was looked like a vampire, hahahaha.
Chile
This performance were wearing colorful dress and their dancing like a masculin style. Good Job Chile!!!
It was all about cultural performances from BYEE Countries 2010.
It was unforgettable moment, just keep it in my memories as a sweet memories..
